A select group of Global Leadership students ranging from first to fourth year had the opportunity to meet with a group of professionals from around the world to discuss Youth & Civic Education on Friday, September 19. The visitors were leaders in higher educations, NGOs and journalism from more than 20 different countries visiting Atlanta as part of the US State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program. After a Q&A in the Kendeda building, Global Leadership students and GL Faculty Director, Dr. Rudy Gleason, joined the visitors for a lunch of inspiring conversation and networking. After lunch, visitors and students got to learn about the innovation behind Kendeda from Brooke Johnson, facilities manager for Kendeda. The luncheon was hosted in partnership between Global Leadership and the Georgia Council for International Visitors.
