Country of the Month
The Barcolana Regata festival occurs generally in the second week of October, and takes place in Trieste. During this festival you will see the biggest gathering of boats in the Adriatic Sea. You will find all kinds of boats racing: even night races take place. You will get good food, music and wine as well.

Interested in studying abroad? The Office of International Education will now be in the Mason Building Lobby on Tuesdays from 11am-12:30pm for walk-in advising starting September 1st for the fall semester.

This information session will discuss education abroad funding opportunities with the Office of International Education (e.g.: the George International Study Abroad Scholarship) and some national funding opportunities (e.g.: the Gilman, Boren, and CLS study abroad scholarships). We will also discuss some tips for writing applications and finding resources. While most of the scholarships discussed will be for undergraduate students, there are also some for graduate students as well. We hope to see you there!
